The British Council’s exciting skills initiative in eastern and southern Europe and Central Asia comes to the vibrant city of Astana, capital city of Kazakhstan.
Run in partnership with Kazakhstan’s flagship Nazarbayev University and Kasipkor Holding (the TVET agency tasked with setting up world class colleges), SEE Into the Future Astana is a prestigious policy discussion and seminar event, attracting high calibre participation from Kazakhstan and the neighbouring region.
What’s more, the British Council will be running online surveys, discussions and competitions as well as publishing a series of articles from leading experts on skills, entrepreneurship and employment
What are the themes?
A team of experts will lead discussion, learning and reflection on the following questions:

How can education providers and industry better co-operate together?

How can we help young people make the right career choice and how can industry be confident that young people have the skills that they need?

How does teaching and learning need to change in order to better equip young people for future employment and business success?
